     TERMS & CONDITIONS

         1. Times All bookings are from (arrive) Saturday 2.30 p.m. to (depart) Saturday 10 a.m. We can be more flexible            outside school holidays. If you would  like to stay  on  different days please ask.

                Off peak long weekends may be available: contact us for availability.

2. Deposit There is a £50.00 non-returnable deposit payable on confirmation of booking. Full payment is due six weeks before your holiday. If this is not paid The Cottage may be let to someone else.

3. Cancellations. If you give at least 21 days notice of cancellation we will give a full refund minus the £50 non-returnable deposit. If you give less than 21 days notice you will not get a refund unless we can let the property for those dates, in which case we will refund your money minus the £50 deposit.

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

4. Bedding. We supply duvets, blankets, duvet covers,sheets ,pillow cases and drying up cloths.Towels are not included.

5. Provisions. We leave some basic foodstuffs for visitors (e.g. flour,sugar,oil , spices etc.) because we hate going to holiday houses where there is only salt and pepper! We just ask that our visitors replace things when they use them, so that they are there for the next people.

6. Pets. We regret this, but a combination of sheep in the orchard and hairy furniture mean that no pets are allowed.

7. Warning. Visitors should be aware that woodburning stoves are dangerous to children, external surfaces can be very hot. (The central heating is very warm, so woodburners are more of a treat then a necessity). The cottage also has a narrow, winding staircase and different floor levels between rooms which small children or people with mobility problems may find difficult.

         8. Breakages. All breakages are to be paid for, or the broken things replaced with new ones of equal quality and value. Please let us know if things                    get broken  and  you  don’t have time to replace them, so we can get it done for other people.
